Sing a song and let Midomi tell you what it is
Today I installed an application on my phone that I had read about on allaboutsymbian last week, its called midomi. Have you ever got a song or tune stuck in your head but you cant remember what its called or who its by? this is where Midomi comes to the rescue. Open the application and start the recorder, then hum or sing at least 10 seconds of the song, once your finished click on search. It will connect to its online database and compare your rendition of the song with all the ones people have submitted. A few seconds later it will return a list of possible matches, and let me tell you this list is pretty accurate. As well as it being useful for finding out what a songs called it could be quite fun too, get a group of people round and take it in turns singing a song. For each one that it correctly identifies you score a point. A useful application with fun possibilities too.
