A Cheque Arrived Today

I arrived home from work today to be greeted by the usual amount of junk mail. But hidden amongst it all was a little white envelope containing a cheque for £30, this was from m:metrics of www.mobilepanel.co.uk For those that don’t know what mobile panel is, it very small application that you install on your phone, it monitors data usage etc and sends this info back to m:metrics. This data is used to analyse mobile usage across thousands of different people in various countries. I was a bit wary of this at first but after reading up on the company and views from other users I signed up for it. They aren’t always taking on new accounts so I had to wait a while before I could sign up with them. A month after your account is first activated they send you a cheque for £15, and another cheque of £30 for each 6 months you keep you account active, this just means keeping the software on your phone and sending data to them.

I’ll be off to the bank tomorrow to cash the cheque, which I’ve already spent £22.50 of it yesterday but I’ll have to wait until the end of next week for that purchase to arrive so stay tuned.
