My Nokia N95 8gig has just arrived and is charging up as I write this. It actually feels slightly smaller in the hand than I had imagined, I thought it would be a bit bulkier than it is. Its the first high end symbian phone Iv owned since the N80 which I purchased a week after launch date, iv had a few since then such as the N73, E61 and 6120 classic, but none of those have had me as excited as I was when I first got the N80 and now the N95.
I can’t decide If I should keep it as it is for a few weeks and test it out fully or debrand it as soon as its finished charging and update the firmware. Its on the 3 network and although Iv found their firmware stable in the past im not a big fan of branded phones and they do take forever to release the latest version of firmware.
Whether I debrand or not one of the first jobs it to install my essential software. That includes
Best Profiles
Skype
Taskman

Y-Browser
Then its time to check out some of the newer software that’s been released that make use of the accelerometer. I haven’t really kept upto date with Symbian software recently so the only accelerometer application that Iv heard of is RotateMe, but I’m sure there are others now. Off to check out the latest software while it finishes charging then time to play :)
